International Master in Turbulence  

Application and Admission to the International Master's Programmes are handled centrally at the Ecole Centrale de Lille International Office.

General Entry Requirements:

Students must hold a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in science or engineering discipline which lends itself to the study of Turbulence, e.g. Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics or Applied Mathematics. Applicants enrolled in French "Diplôme d'ingénieur" program at EC Lille, ENSIP or ENSMA will be completing the final year of their full three-year engineering curriculum during the first year of the Master program.

Proof of proficiency in English is required (TOEFL, IELTS test ...).

International students needing visa and stay permit will have to provide proof of sufficient funding to French officials at French Embassy and/or Consulate.

Tuition Fees:

Tuition fees for non-EU applicants are 3,000€ per year (financial aid is available on merit) while standard French fees (300€ per year; in 2016) apply for EU residents.

Application deadline:

The deadline for registration is March 31st 2017

(Applications may be accepted up to May 31st 2017 for European student only depending on availability)

The target is a group of 12 students. Program starts on September 4th 2017. Candidatures will be processed within two weeks after the deadline.

Fellowship information


Fellowships are available from different institutions either French or from your own country. Some are listed below which are not exclusive. You should inquire in your own country about the funding sources available. The deadline for the applications for a fellowship are usually more then 10 month before the starting date of the programme meaning that early applications (before the end of 2016) to the master program are recommended in order to be able to apply to these fellowships. There will be a possibility of fellowship by the "Ecole Centrale Foundation".
