Mathematics for Turbulence

The course objective is to provide students with in-depth insight into the main mathematical tools needed to understand, process and study turbulence covering:

  1. Advanced Probability and Statistics
  2. Advanced Fourier analysis
  3. Spectral representation
  4. Wavelets Transforms
  5. Proper Orthogonal Decomposition
  6. Linear Stochastic Estimation
